Resident Spotlight: Minnie Harmon
Community member Minnie Harmon, a mother to three wonderful sons, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren is proud to be a resident of the Choice Neighborhood area. Though McGovern Park initially attracted her to the neighborhood, Minnie enjoys spending time with her neighbors, working in the community as part of the McGovern Park Neighborhood Association, and being involved at her church. She hopes to see increased activities centered around encouraging youth to become involved in neighborhood planning, and believes that resident participation will be the key to successful neighborhood improvements.
