CNI Business Summit Connects Entrepreneurs to Resources
Milwaukee's Choice Neighborhood Initiative (CNI) hosted the Live & Revive Business Summit on July 29, 2021 in Westlawn Gardens to provide entrepreneurs and business owners with resources, networking and inspiration. Nearly 50 attendees enjoyed breakout sessions on starting a business, expanding to a second location, and utilizing low-interesting financing to advance their business plans. The summit also included resource partners and an entrepreneur panel discussion moderated by Alderwoman Chantia Lewis with successful small business owners. In addition, attendees learned about special low-interest loans and exterior revitalization grants available through CNI for businesses located in and around the Westlawn Gardens neighborhood.
