Through CNI, we will replace distressed public and assisted housing with high-quality, mixed-income housing that is well managed and responsive to the needs of the surrounding neighborhood.

Goal: Develop a mixed-income community

Desired Outcomes after 5 years:

  • Develop 394 public housing units that are energy-efficient, sustainable and meet or exceed HUD’s accessibility and visitability requirements.

  • Develop a mixed-income and mixed-use community that includes retail space, 121 affordable housing units with no public subsidy, and 191 market-rate units.

  • Develop housing that is well-managed and financially viable.
