YouthBuild Trains Future Workforce with Westlawn Neighborhood Construction

McGovern Park Now Has ADA Accessible Restrooms!
Milwaukee County Parks recently unveiled new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible restrooms at McGovern Park as part of County Supervisor Sequanna Taylor’s Night Out event.
This summer, McGovern Park also made upgrades to the picnic shelter, the basketball courts and received a new orchard courtesy of the Milwaukee Bucks. #McGovernPark #Neighborhood

Resident Spotlight: Rose Sandrone
Rose Sandrone is a mother to two adult children and has lived in Havenwoods for more than 40 years. She is very active in community meetings and works closely with the Havenwoods Economic Development Corporation. This interest in community leadership and working to help others comes naturally, as Rose’s mother was active in the Peace Corps for years.
