Community Discusses Safe Walking and Biking
On Wednesday, Nov. 28th residents joined representatives from the Milwaukee Department of Public Works, Wisconsin Bike Fed, Toole Design, MPD and HACM to discuss ideas for improving walking and biking safety around schools and throughout the Choice Neighborhood. Thanksgiving Meal Brings People Together
A coalition of neighborhood groups led by the Milwaukee Community Schools Partnership, Westlawn Resident Council, Silver Spring Neighborhood Center (SSNC), Browning Elementary, Safe & Sound, Housing Authority and the Choice Neighborhood Initiative hosted a free Thanksgiving dinner for the neighborhood on November 15th at SSNC. A Strong Start for Best Babies Zone Westlawn
