This event honored individuals who have worked alongside Safe & Sound to build community across Milwaukee. Youth Create Murals of Hope
The Westlawn Community Garden is home to a new mural created by neighborhood youth through a program conducted by Safe & Sound with Silver Spring Neighborhood Center and supported by Potawatomi Hotel & Casino's Heart of Canal Program. The teens worked with youth organizer Joshua Jenkins and artist Tia Richardson to design the mural to express their hopes for the community.
