Westlawn Community Gardens Clean-Up - Spruce Up for Spring!
Join us at Westlawn Gardens to get ready for spring planting! Prepare community gardens for the planting spring fruits, veggies, herbs, and flowers! Work alongside Westlawn Gardens community members and then enjoy a lunch for volunteers! All volunteers who register by April 6th will get a t-shirt.

About the event
Register by clicking HERE by April 6th to volunteer for this event! Volunteers will recieve a T-shirt (we ask for your size in the registration form) and lunch provided by the Housing Authroity of Milwaukee.
All ages are welcome. Adults bringing children to participate must supervise them throughout the project. The project will include moving compost, adding compost to gardens, clearing garden boxes of weeds for vegetables and fruits to be planted, painting nameplate signs and sanitizing tools/spaces.

Additional Information
- Please bring your own garden gloves if you have them; otherwise there will be some available.
- Event space is limited to 50 volunteers and we ask that volunteers mask and social distance, following CDC guidelines for COVID-19 safety.
- Masks and sanitizer will be available.
- Lunch will be provided by the Housing Authority City of Milwaukee.
